Quantum, Inc. is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors comprised of community leaders in business and other professions. Board members serve a three-year term and meet once a month. Responsibilities include assisting with business development and expansion involving tasks relating to fiscal and legal accountability, governance authority and strategic planning.

PAUL MANLEY
PRESIDENT
 
Paul has been a Board Member for almost four years now. Originally a native of Albany, NY, Paul now resides in Savannah with his family and currently works as an Area Manager for Graybar Electric. He is an active musician and father to his two young sons. 
 
SAMMY STRODE 
VICE PRESIDENT
 
Sammy decided to take a more active role as an Officer for his second year on the Quantum Board. He holds a BA in History from Armstrong Atlantic State University. In his free time Sammy enjoys golfing.
 
SR. BARBARA SHIMKUS
SECRETARY
 
Sister Barbara is currently a counselor at St. Mary's Home and enjoys reading, photography and walking. She has been a member of the Quantum Board for over 5 years. She holds an MS in Counseling from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. Her favorite vacation spot is San Francisco, CA.
 
GEORGE MOSER
TREASURER
 
George puts his number-crunching skills to good use as the Treasurer for the Quantum Board. His hometown is Langhorne, PA and he spends his free time as a musician. He enjoys watching The Wire on HBO and his favorite vacation spot is London, England.
 
KEN BOYD
 
Ken has been a long-time advocate for Quantum and served on the Board for many years. He currently serves as the VP of Economic Development at Savannah Technical College and recently received his Doctor of Eduction from Georgia Southern University.
 
JEWEL DANIELS

Jewel is President of Daniels Communications Group. She holds a BA in Mass Media Communications and Public Relations from Hampton University in VA. She also currently teaches marketing and entrepreneurship courses at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
 
ANDY GAUNCE

Andy is a welcomed new member on the Quantum Board this year. He currently works as an attorney in Corporate Law for Hunter Maclean. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006. He is very active in the Savannah community and will be a huge asset to Quantum in the coming months.
 
CLYDE HALL

Clyde is a Savannah native and enjoys conducting historical research. He is a retired professor of History from Savannah State University. He enjoys watching the History Channel and visiting the farm in Vidalia, GA. Clyde is a new member to our Board, but has brought great insight over the past year.
 
MARIA PONCY

Maria is one of our newest Board Members. She has worked in Quantum Specialized Assembly on the Gulfstream Aerospace contract since 2004. She is a hard-worker and her attention to detail is what landed her the job working on wiring assemblies for Gulfstream! In her spare time she enjoys shopping, bowling and going to the movies.
